This Brembo GT-R Nickel Plated Front Big Brake Kit is a front axle upgrade for Porsche 993 Carrera 2 and Carrera 4 models (1995–1998), replacing the factory braking system with a fixed 6-piston billet monobloc Brembo caliper and 350mm x 34mm two-piece rotor setup. It increases thermal capacity and maintains consistent clamping force under repeated high-load braking.
On 993 builds, the front braking system is often the limiting factor once the car is driven harder or upgraded for performance. The factory setup can begin to show fade and inconsistent pedal response during repeated use. This GT-R system addresses that directly with a stiffer billet caliper and a larger rotor package, helping maintain even pad pressure and stable braking performance through repeated stops.
