This Brembo Gran Turismo Front Big Brake Kit is a front axle upgrade for Porsche 964 Turbo (3.3 and 3.6), replacing the factory braking system with a fixed Brembo 4-piston caliper and larger two-piece rotor setup. It increases thermal capacity and maintains consistent braking force under repeated load, addressing fade and instability that show up when pushing these cars beyond stock performance levels.
On 964 Turbo builds, especially 3.6 cars or modified 3.3 setups, the factory brakes can struggle with heat during repeated high-speed stops. This kit is commonly installed on cars used for aggressive street driving, canyon runs, or occasional track use where consistent pedal feel and heat control become critical. The larger rotor and caliper combination improves heat dissipation and reduces uneven pad wear, keeping braking response stable through repeated use.
When it comes to bigger brakes, Brembo is the name most people end up at for a reason. Do it right, do it once. This kit includes a pair of GT 4-piston cast monobloc radial mount calipers loaded with Brembo FM1000 pads set up for street and performance use. It’s paired with 355mm x 32mm high carbon rotors—available in cross-drilled, TY1, or TY3 configurations—with corrosion-resistant plating, along with Goodrich braided lines and CNC billet radial mounting hardware.
Add it up—world-famous Brembo calipers paired with a system built to handle heat, repeated load, and consistent braking performance without the drop-off seen in the factory setup.
