911 Headlight High Power Relay Set for Porsche 911, 912E, and 930 (1974-89)
Custom fit for '74-'89 911. Detailed instructions included and installation video is available. Installs without modification to factory harness or car. No holes to drill- car can be returned to stock easily.
Overkill 4-relay set to provide maximum power to the lights. Includes 4 fuses and heavy gauge wires from the battery all the way to the headlights.
- Main feed is 8 gauge marine battery cable
- New blade-style fuse sub-panel with 4 fuses
- 4 easily-replaced cube relays
- 12 gauge crosslink US-made wire in sleeved harnesses
- New Hella bulb sockets
- 12 gauge ground wires complete the circuit back to the battery grounding post
- Narrow insulation wire is used to facilitate installation without modifying the car
No wire cutting or crimping required. Will require work in the wheel well, jacking up of the car and possibly temporarily moving the washer tank and oil cooler for access.
Quality Zettler relays. Optional German relays are also available.
With LED lights becoming more available, the current draw is not as much of a concern as with halogens. However, LEDs are voltage sensitive. It is still a good idea to install relays to prevent your LED lights from flickering or turning off due to low voltage from the unreliable switches.
Relays are traditional cube style. You can get replacement relays at any parts store so there is no worry of being stranded waiting for special parts in case of (rare) failure.
Wire lengths are not sized for '73 or older 911- this is not a universal fit product.
Does not fit 914 or 914/6.
