Same efficient and rugged stack-plate design as our EMPI competition engine oil coolers. This cooler features 1/2" Female threaded ends with 3/8" hose barb fittings for easy installation. EMPI Transmission Coolers will fit any vehicle fitted with an Automatic Transmission where space permits. From your car's I.D. tag, find the gross vehicle weight (G.V.W.) and compare it to the G.V.W. column in the chart above. Bigger is Better is the rule of thumb as you can never over-cool a transmission. When in doubt, go to the next larger size. If you plan to tow a trailer or heavy load, install the largest cooler.
